We are not in the 1930's: We now have better algorithms, better data and their interpretation, better forecasting and simulations, and we have bigger problems and challenges, more crazy dictators under the umbrella of democracies, and more omnipresent dis/mis-information techniques than 100 years ago, a more complex world, more internationalised.
If not now, then we will have better decision models for governance in 20 or 50 years time.
