I'm quite fine with bodycams, as long as the policies around them ensure transparency and serve the public good.. The chain of evidence is critical to the justice system and rule of law. The bigger question might be; are bodycams needed because we've asked police to do more than enforce the law? Bureaucracy and the rule of law works because of the inherent threat of violence.

You may be interested in Georgist-esk ideas then. It's a "lost" pro-market philosophy that focuses its attention on taxing only unearned rents. The idea is that was stop taxing peoples labor, freeing their full productive spirit to innovate and work.
By taxing only unearned rents and redistributing them to the people, we prevent the large inequalities and negative externalities that has turned "capitalism" into a pejorative term.
